Collection of elevation can be done in conjunction with the documentation of most field tasks in the GreenStar™ system. For higher quality elevation data it is recommended that RTK be used and elevation collected in slower moving operations such as planting. This elevation data can then be used to form a grade design and then implement this with tools such as iGrade™ and TerraCutta.
iGrade™ allows single and dual slope grade designs to be implemented. This application automates the hydraulic commands of a scraper blade or bucket, making your water management practices hassle-free. The Distance Trip feature lets you engage the tractor’s hydraulics based on distance traveled – a real advantage when creating furrows in headlands or the vernacular creating Roto bucks or Roto bucking.
Grade Design and TerraCutta
